  • Are your products gluten-free?

    Yes. Our products are ground from corn and are never processed in the same facility as gluten products, so they are gluten-free.

  • Are your products non-GMO?

    Our suppliers cannot guarantee GMO status at this time.

  • What does self-rising cornmeal mean?

    Self-rising means we have already added the necessary baking powder, baking soda, and salt to the cornmeal, and all you need to do is add the wet ingredients!

  • When do you sell the cranberry cornbread and hushpuppy mixes?

    Our cranberry cornbread and hushpuppy mixes are seasonal during Christmas. Come and get yours at our annual Open House on the first Saturday of December!

  • What is the difference between white grits and yellow grits?

    White grits are ground from white corn, yellow grits are ground from yellow corn. That’s all! Oh - and sometimes the yellow tastes a little more “corny”. ;)

  • What is the difference between grits, cornmeal, hominy, and polenta?

    Great question! They are all made from ground corn, but sifted differently - see our video on instagram explaining the difference!
